11. Describe something. Yes, anything. Write it down. Where does the process of description take you? Do you learn something about the thing you describe?   (descriptive paragraph) The pillow is a closed pocket made out of fabric which functions as a case. It can be different fabrics like cotton, linen or some plastic formula. Inside of this case there is material which has a soft, fluffy, malleable form. This material can also be different things like actual feathers from geese or a plastic formula. Usually today a pillow has a square or rectangular form, but it can have all types of forms. The pillow is used as something comforting for when we lay or sit down.   12. Transform the description in Exercise 11 into a paragraph expressing a deductive argument. Exercise 7 - advertisement

  The advertisement contains a woman, sitting in some type of arena on the floor with her legs spread out wide. She is showing her crotch towards a bull. We just see the top of his head and his two horns. In a horizontal line there is the brands name Sisley written out widely.   The woman is styled in a way so that she appears sexy in a very normative way with her make up, the pink stockings and a red dress. She also poses in provocative way, which gives the impression that she lustern for sex. She is looking at a bull, which whom we – the audience – almost share our perspective. The woman wants to attract, seduce, have sex with the bull. Premise: Women are craving men. Women want to seduce men. They need to look very sexy to do that. Men are like animals – if women do a good job at looking sexy, men can’t help themselves but give in.   The product, which are the clothes, help women to look sexy.   The image makes this statement by ... I once picked up my recipe from the doctor for my daily thyroid medicine and went to the pharmacy right next to it. Both pharmacists were busy looking at their computer screens until the first one smiled at me brightly – she didn’t wear a mask since there was a separator between her and the customers.   The smile was my invitation to step forward and hand her my recipe over which I did. “Ahh okay …”, she mumbled reading the name of my medicine, “Arda!”, she exclamated reading my last name. “That’s a very beautiful name.
